In a new press release, a Rockstar spokesperson wrote:
“With the unprecedented longevity of GTAV, we know many of you have been asking us about a new entry in the Grand Theft Auto series. With every new project we embark on, our goal is always to significantly move beyond what we have previously delivered — and we are pleased to confirm that active development for the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series is well underway. In terms of the game itself, Rockstar isn’t announcing anything right now, and it’s not saying when it will. According to previous reports, the first edition of GTA 6 may be smaller than GTA 5, with patches utilized to improve it over time.
According to other rumors, the game would be situated in a Miami-inspired Vice City, and some fans believe Rockstar slipped the first screenshot into the GTA Trilogy remasters.
Rockstar patented a new NPC navigation system last year, which some suspect will be incorporated in the next GTA. The technology is intended to create more lifelike road users and more realistic traffic behavior, with the goal of making it usable in a “multiplayer network gaming community.”
After the departure of Rockstar co-founder Dan Houser, who helped create all of the GTA games from 2 to 5, as well as Bully, and Max Payne 3, this will be the first current GTA game.
This definitely is amazing news for all our GTA lovers throughout the world gaming community! GTA 6 is much awaited!
