Hey there, fellow PlayStation lovers out there. The new PlayStation Plus Games for April 2022 have been announced. Sony revealed the following games to be released in April 2022:
- Hood: Outlaws & Legends (PS5 & PS4),
- SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated (PS4), and
- Slay the Spire (PS4)
All three games will be made available to all PlayStation Plus subscribers at no extra cost on Tuesday, April 5, as stated by the PlayStaion.Blog.
This news comes on the heels of Sony’s “new PlayStation Plus,” which is expected to launch in June with three different tiers and access to PS5, PS4, PS3, PS2, PS1, and PSP games depending on which tier you choose. However, unlike Xbox Game Pass, no tier will provide you preview to PlayStation first-party exclusives.
Hood: Outlaws & Legends is a third-person action video game with a multiplayer mode. The player assumes charge of an outlaw who must penetrate a keep belonging to the State, an authoritarian force, and fight against a competing team to steal the fortune concealed in the keep’s vault.
The 2020 platform game SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated is based on the Nickelodeon animated series SpongeBob SquarePants. It’s a recreation of the 2003 SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom for consoles.
In Slay the Spire, released in 2019, the player controls one of four characters who must battle foes and bosses as they strive to ascend a spire with numerous floors built using procedural creation. Combat is conducted via a collectible card game-based system, with the player earning new cards as a result of combat and other ways, necessitating the player to employ deck-building game strategies in order to complete the climb.
Persona 5 will be withdrawn from the PlayStation Plus Collection on May 11, 2022, along with the release of April’s PlayStation Plus games. So be sure to save it to the game library before then so you may keep playing it as long as your subscription is active.
Happy Gaming! 🙂
