Today, we will be discussing the brand new Destiny 2 Xur location today and inventory review for the weekend of January. So, first things first, XUR is located in the tower hanger.
Let’s explore what he has! First, in terms of exotic, we have got the Two-Tailed Fox rocket launcher. Then, we have got the Shards of Galanor, Lion Rampant, Karnstein Armlets.
Let’s check out the Legendary Weapons:- We have got the Seventh Seraph S1-2, a Night watch with an explosive which is quite solid! Nature of the Beast, Wishbringer, First in Last out, Falling Guillotine which is a pretty interesting one, Third Axiom.
Moving on to the armor section, Righteous Gauntlets are honestly a great pickup if you are new here, Righteous Plate, Righteous Helm, Righteous Greaves. That is a quite solid pack there.
Now, let us move on to the warlock. For the warlock, let’s check the inventory, we have the Righteous Gloves, Righteous Robes, Righteous Hood, Righteous Boots.
Now let’s check out the Hunter:- Righteous Grip, Righteous Vest, Righteous Mask, Righteous Strides. One that you should seriously consider is the Righteous Armour set back from the season of dawn.
This is actually a pretty old armor set so, consider picking this up if you are a collector and if you were not there while the season of dawn. This was actually offered as a random drop for a certain point. That was all about the weapons and armor packs.

Now let’s talk about how does the XUR work today because it has changed quite a lot since the game came out. This may come as a surprise to you all but XUR is not available 24*7!
He is only there 4 days out of a week. It enters the game on Friday at 10 AM Pacific/1 PM Eastern and stays till Tuesday at the same time. Xur sells you exotics of up to 4 different exotics each week.
He also has some other features like carrying the nightfall card. He also has an addition to his 4 non-exotics in his inventory which gives you a chance of getting something that you don’t have.
In fact, it actually defaults to something that you don’t have. This is by far one of the easiest ways of getting all the exotics. These same exotics can be in his inventory that he sells you directly.
Now, let us talk about all the possible Destiny 2 Xur locations today. The locations do change every week and it is random amongst the 5 pre-decided locations that he is allowed to spawn in.
If you are reading this on a Friday and wondering where XUR is, he is probably at the Tower Hanger.
Listing down all the possible Destiny 2 Xur locations today:-
The Tower Hanger
Go to the courtyard and then and then you are going to find him right on the catwalk.
In the EDZ
He is allowed to spawn in the Winding Cove, look for a skip on the cliff and you are gonna find him there.
In Titan
His spawn location is a little bit tricky on The Rig as you have to go below the deck to find him.
In Nessus
You need to go to Watchers Grave and you will find him near the tree on the Barge. You will find him on the top deck of the ship.
