This is where the second way of preventing fall damage in Elden Ring comes into play. You must have heard of Rainbow Stones. These can be easily overlooked and they can predict if you can survive the fall or not.
Well, its working is quite easy to understand. As the name says Rainbow, it is emitting light. You just simply have to throw the Rainbow Stone before you make your jump.
If the stone is still emitting the pink light that means you can jump down and it is safe for you. But if you throw the stone and it breaks that clearly indicates that you won’t be able to survive the jump and plan accordingly. You can easily access the rainbow stone in your inventory under the tools tab.
