Hello, gamers and welcome to our another blog on Elden Ring series. Today’s topic is “How to prevent fall damage in Elden Ring(& how it works).” So let’s begin!
Fall Damage In Elden Ring:
Fall damage in Elden Ring takes place when you jump from a height in the game. After you jump from a certain height you will see your health will get reduced. For basic jumps, you might only lose your stamina but if you jump from quite a high place then you will end up killing your character.
So, as we have explained the term fall damage above now let us learn how to minimize the effect of fall damage on your health and stamina in the game. But before you learn any of the ways to reduce fall damage impacts one must know that there are certain height limits to this. Exceeding them will kill your character no matter if you applied any mod to prevent fall damage in Elden Ring.
Ways To Prevent Fall Damage:
So there are 2 ways of achieving this goal so far. Presenting you the first one, Grab Longtail Cat Talisman – this item in the game is described as Renders the wearer immune to fall damage.
Talisman will reduce the fall damage on high jumps you make in the game and but you need to keep in mind that you have to consider the height from which you jump. Because you can die too as it does not predict your chances of survival by looking down at the place where you will be landing. But how about I tell you that there is a way by which you can analyze and predict your fall damage?
This is where the second way of preventing fall damage in Elden Ring comes into play. You must have heard of Rainbow Stones. These can be easily overlooked and they can predict if you can survive the fall or not.
Well, its working is quite easy to understand. As the name says Rainbow, it is emitting light. You just simply have to throw the Rainbow Stone before you make your jump.
If the stone is still emitting the pink light that means you can jump down and it is safe for you. But if you throw the stone and it breaks that clearly indicates that you won’t be able to survive the jump and plan accordingly. You can easily access the rainbow stone in your inventory under the tools tab.
